List of things to do before adding weight on the snatch. This should take about 20 minutes to do as long as you are present (no phone).
- Get your blood flowing through some light movement
- Do mobility drills in order to get into a good bottom position. Focus on hips, ankles, and shoulders usually.
- Do some complexes with just the bar. The Burgener Warm Up is a pretty famous one, but you can make up your own that helps you with your technique issues.
- Do full snatches with the bar so that they closely mimic what your best 85-90% snatch would look like.
- Chalk up!
